Summer Youth Employment program introduces youth to the workforce. This program matches the youth career interest with local businesses and organizations that will give the youth opportunity to engage in their future career paths. Youth ages 14 -18 receive life skills through job training, completing job applications, basics for resume writing, mock interview and the introduction to financial education. As well the opportunity to work for 6 weeks in local businesses to explore possible job opportunities within their community.
The Summer Youth Employment (SYE) pay $14 an hour. Youth are eligible to work up to 11 hours per week. Youth need to complete and application and do a preliminary interview. Call us or email us if you have any questions ara@armourdale.org or 913.371.5696
