Summer Youth Employment program introduces youth to the workforce. This program matches the youth career interest with local businesses and organizations that will give the youth opportunity to engage in their future career paths. Youth ages 14 -18 receive life skills through job training, completing job applications, resume writing, interviews and the opportunity to work for 6 weeks in local businesses to explore possible job opportunities within their community.
Program begins on May 28th in the Armourdale Community Center. The Summer Youth Employment (SYE) pay $14 an hour. Youth are eligible to work up to 11 hours per week. Only 10 spaces available. Call us or email us if you have any questions ara@armourdale.org or 913.371.5696
